User Research Sessions Video

Motion Graphics
Video Editing

We used an external company to carry out some user research sessions, using the Freemans mobile website. This resulted in 10 1-hour recorded sessions that needed to be summarised for use within FGH.

Adobe Premiere Pro • Adobe After Effects • Adobe Illustrator

Areas

Video

I condensed the footage into a 7-minute highlights video that was presented to the EMT (Executive Management Team) including the CEO and was also cascaded to other departments for awareness of customer issues.

I sectioned out the clips into key areas of the website that were addressed, introducing each section with a simple text graphic outlining an overview question.

I made sure to keep the formatting consistent and included the CX (Customer Experience) Team branding on each intro section.

Motion Graphics

To make the video more visually interesting, I experimented with some motion graphics. I learnt to use stroke to create a masked path and shape masks to create a reveal effect.

The CX Team logo was designed by a colleague in Illustrator. I had to create some variations without the cut-through to make a smoother masking path for the arrow to follow.
